SYSGO announced today a partner agreement with Vector Software. SYSGO is a supplier of software solutions for safety and security applications. Vector Software is a provider of software test tools for embedded systems. The partnership will allow DO-178B certifiable PikeOS developers to use leading software testing and code coverage from Vector Software as part of the certification process of their applications. For safety-critical customers, the use of a certifiable RTOS is essential but not sufficient. Certification of the complete system requires processes and tools of the highest quality. Vector Software has developed an expertise, and field-proven testing tools that complement the PikeOS development environment. The key component of the partnership will be the integration of the VectorCAST tools with the eclipse-based development environment CODEO provided within PikeOS.
